Marco originally composed many of his pieces for piano solo but after having met Mauro Giorgeschi, an outstanding drummer and Giulio Angori, an upcoming and highly talented bass player, the music gradually took on a new form and the Marco Marconi Trio evolved.

There is an incredible empathy between the players and this is apparent to the listeners with advanced interplay and stunning improvisations from each of the musicians. If you are lucky enough to see the trio live in concert then you will see and feel the harmony between this talented group.

The idea of performing jazz standards and original music inspired the trio and the groove that they achieve alternates with intrinsic sonority and resonance, fluid improvisations and moments full of pathos and melodiousness. To hear some of their music click here.
