“Projects are many, but finding time is the hard part…”  Marco Marconi

Marco will finish his Post Graduate degree in Jazz at the Conservatory of Perugia in July 2007. After this, there will be more of the time he needs to get on with his other projects.

Apart from continuing to research into the essence of jazz and developing his own personal style, Marco finds it essential to share ideas with other instrumentalists and has an ongoing project meeting with other trios and formations to perform jazz. He does this throughout Umbria, including performing in Umbria jazz, Gubbio “No Borders” jazz and Terni jazz and further afield in Rieti jazz and Veneto jazz.

Composing will take a higher priority and from the summer, Marco looks forward to continue writing jazz music.

Working on a tour schedule for autumn 2007 and spring 2008, Marco is looking to visit London and perform in legendary clubs such as the Pizza Express Jazz Club, Pizza on the Park jazz, the Yamaha jazz room, the 606 club and the Vortex. Plans are underway to visit the metropolis of New York, where the jazz scene is extremely strong…
